Children today are growing up increasingly disconnected from the countryside, farming, and understanding where their food comes from.

Many have never visited a working farm or met a farmer. Through Farmer Time, pupils build lasting relationships with real farmers over the course of a school year. They ask questions, follow the changing seasons, learn about food production, animal welfare, biodiversity, technology and environmental stewardship, all directly from the people who live and work on the land every day.
